Why the Screen Size Is Not Enough
Two monitors described as 27 inch or 43 inch can use different panels, housings, cover glass, touch controllers, connectors and mounting patterns. Cabinet design must use the mechanical drawing for the exact model.
1. Confirm the Display Format
Record the screen size, flat or curved shape, landscape or portrait orientation, native resolution, brightness, active display area and viewing angle.
2. Confirm the Touch System
Specify PCAP or infrared touch, touch points, cover-glass thickness, touch interface, controller model and operating-system compatibility.
3. Confirm Video Inputs
Do not list HDMI, VGA, DVI and DP as interchangeable assumptions. Confirm which connectors are installed on the exact model and which cable set is included.
4. Confirm Mechanical Installation
Use the outline drawing, cabinet cut-out, bezel overlap, active area, VESA or custom mounting pattern, rear clearance and cable-bend space.
5. Confirm Lighting
For illuminated gaming monitors, confirm RGB LED location, voltage, controller, control protocol, effects, synchronization requirement and service access.
6. Confirm the Supply Scope
The quotation should state whether it includes the monitor, touch cable, video cable, power lead, bracket, cover glass, lighting controller and speakers.
Final Checklist
Before production, approve the exact model, panel, touch controller, interface set, mechanical drawing, cable set, voltage and lighting control.
